Greetings,

I love the adition of the galaxy's in Endless Space 2. And I played them all and experienced all it's characteristics.
But in the end I always felt that none were "special" or unique in it's own way.
I didn't felt like I was exploring a vast open region of space (unless you set the amount of systems to high) for me to conquer or explore.

Don't get me wrong, they are perfect and a fantastic adition to this game.

But I would love to see more asymmetric maps to play on, I would even go as far to call it unbalanced. Something to spice things up and give a challange.

Let the community explore this idea and build upon it.

What do you guys think of this all? What would you like to see? Let your creativity flow and let this thread be a place to brainstorm and pot what you think.
I would love to see what the community would like to have in this magnificent game.

Feel free to drop your comment and/or pictures of galaxy's you would like to see

Cheers!

Hello.

So, look at this. These are some stellar maps from one of my favorite games "Sword of the Stars".

"One arm"

"Rift"

"Stellar shrine"

m... "Something". Okay, this  map is called "Stellar nursery".

"Barbell"

And my favorite - "cubes".

What do you think about them?

Verry interesting indeed, would make such a good adition to the game.
Unfortunately the game does not support maps with depth such as seen in the pictures.
Only a 2D surface.

still tho, I would love to see this maps in the game.

The lack of a third dimension in fresh 4X games surprises me greatly. Nevertheless, "Cubes" can be implement as constellations in the form of flat polygons. The remaining maps can be implemented in the form as they are presented in the picture.  A little later I'll post more pictures.
