I've been a fan of type 2d animation that ES uses extensively (and to great effect), I call it "bone animation" as I'm not aware of a better term.

If a Dev or someone else knowledgeable could answer these questions I would be grateful:


1. What kind of tool/ software is Amplitude using to create this kind of effect? Is it part of Unity? Spine?

2. Is there a "industry standard" for this kind of animation? Kinda like zbrush is for 3d sculpting. I've been hearing about Adobe After Effects but I'm not sure how up to date that info is. Or maybe Spine?

3. Is there a better term than "2d bone animation" for this? It would help me research better.
