Dear Amplitude, can you add xml tags for editing major/minor home system in future patch? This fiture is really needed for create galaxy generation mod. I will be very grateful, if you do this. Please, for the god sake!

If you want the home systems to spawn with a different type or planets, I think it's already possible!

You can find the data in ES2 folder/Public/WeightTableDefinitions.xml: there are several GalaxyGeneratorWeightTable entries which define what spawns for each faction.
