I love this game so much, but I think it got two really big issues (some might say more but these are the two for me) compared to Civ 5, which really hooked me on 4X:

1. The extremely passive AI, even on Endless difficulty. I mean, you can give the AI whatever bonuses you want, but if it has no killer instinct, no sense of "oh, that empire is weak, I should probably destroy them!" then it's all for nothing. Civ 5 on Deity is nightmarish for a long time, Endless is not. (Maybe, though not 4x, check out Europa Universalis 4 and their option for AI aggressiveness). /rant over, sorry!

I have no skills to do anything about that which brings me to...

2. The lack of keyboard shortcuts, especially the two in the title: 'execute moves' and 'next idle fleet', but also just 'next unit'.

I would love to just be wrong and someone can point out that it's already in the game, but it doesn't seem that way.

As I'm fast approaching 10,000 turns the constant mouse moving is becoming a real pain in... my shoulder. This functionality needs to be in the game but for now I'd settle for a mod.

So folks, is it possible? I've never modded anything but tell me it's possible and I'll teach myself and make it happen!

As for #3 'next unit', is it possible to interact with the Military tab (in which I can double-click a fleet and it will take me to it) without opening it? Without some macro that has to open it up and do some current unit+1 silliness?

It is unfortunately impossible to add shortcuts with a mod: these are done in code and you can't modify the code.

You can however create an Idea so we "officially" consider the addition of these shortcuts (and many more if you want!) in future updates!
