Good evening all you masterful modding folks!

Does anyone have a MOD that returns the game to it's Pre-Supremacy State, where the Endless Techs and original (awesome) Tech Tree and Terraforming options are all intact?

The new tech tree is sorely lame to me now, and focuses far too much on Behemoths, which has simply turned the game into "rush Obliterator, win" game.

No, it's possibly something with my game. I'm uninstalling it completely and re-installing, as someone mentioned Terraforming exists for them. I also just encountered an issue where everything was fine monetarily wise and then suddenly I was losing -157k per turn out of nowhere. So, I'm thinking that something about the DLC install may have corrupted my game completely.

BUT, I did prefer the Pre-Supremacy tech tree and techs. And even with Supremacy turned off, I don't have acess to those old techs anymore. Just empty spots where Behemoth techs would go.

However, perhaps that's also an issue of corruption of the game.

You responded on the wrong thread lol, but I'll answer here. I tested what you stated earlier tonight and had no problems terraforming Toxic planets (or any planets for that matter). And I haven't seen this reported elsewhere so it might be a rare or isolated issue.

Also, concerning you suddenly losing 157k per turn. Did you build too many Behemoth C3 Centers? That's been a recurring issue where players will construct too many of them and it'll lead to extremely high dust costs for Behemoths. The C3 Centers x2 Dust Upkeep stacks on each and every Behemoth that you own, so this is likely the cause. I would go back to that game and destroy a few of them on your systems and see if that helps.

Lastly, I'm no modder but I don't think it's possible to return the Tech Tree to a Pre-Supremacy stage, at least not easily.

Hey folks, it is possible to revert the technology tree to its previous state with a mod!

It requires to copy all the previous techs from before the DLC so it overrides the updated versions, and make the newly added techs unavailable.

That's some easy but very tedious work!

Suis3i, thank you for confirming, I didn't have a chance to test my re-downladed game until late today due to work..

But having now tested, I can terraform normally again, and I didn't see any weird dust fluctuations, however it was a very basic run up the tree and test the terraforming, not a fully played game.

I'm thinking the dust issue was also corrupt game files, because it what I saw was turn after turn steady, then suddenly bam, from +15k a turn to -100k kind of thing in one turn.

Many thanks for your initial reply though :)

MonAmiral,

I may try that simply for some tedious fun lol. I DO like the old tech tree, BUT, HUGE BUT here, part of my dislike was due to my game definately being corrupted after the DLC installed. As I now have all Terraforming available, ALSO, prevously when playing with the DLC, my Behemoths also didn't have Terraforming, now they do. So my ENTIRE experience with the DLC is actually NOT something you should take into account at all. Because it's been completely mucked up by corruption.

As I mentioned in another post, a complete uninstall (thanks to Suisi3i and another fellow mentioning they still had terraforming in their games) after being alerted my game might be the issue, solved the problem.

I need to spend time getting in some good games this weekend, so I can experience everything you folks have added, PROPERLY.

Many thanks for your tip :)

Corrupted games is not something that should happen, please make a bug report so we can investigate it :O

I hope you'll enjoy the DLC when it works hehe!

Yeah of course dude, glad I could help !

Sucks that the game had some corrupted files but it's good to hear (see) that the unistall-reinstall fixed your issues !
