I'm trying to create my first mod ever and I am struggling. The purpose of my mod is to try and make old galaxies have more old and more habitable stars and fewer protostars but everytime I have tested the mod with a map revealing mod I have found no difference between the modded map and the unmodded one, even when I have grossly changed the star weights in favor of one particular star type. Can a more experienced modder take a look and tell me what the issue is?ProperOldGalaxies.zip

Hey G4m3rpri3st,

The reference to your WeightTableDefinitions.xml file in ProperOldGalaxies.xml is missing the ".xml" bit!

I have not tested the mod with this modification but paths not leading to the right files causes the modified data to not be loaded and no error to be produced, so it might be it!

Gotcha, I fixed it. Thanks for the help! Though after testing it some more and changing the galaxy weights again to be purely in favor of red supergiants, I still don't see any difference in the galaxy generation. I've spent a bunch of time looking at other mods on the workshop that also change the galaxy generation weight tables and trying to copy them the best I can but I am still having no luck. Someone want to take another look for me?

Edit: Nevermind! It was a typo in the word Definitions! I had initially spelled it Definitons and thus borked my file path. It works now!
