Hello everyone, pardon me for my english.

In the file "CuriosityDroplists.xml", at section :

<CuriosityDroplist Name="CuriosityDroplist_Loot_Underground_Era4">

on this line :

<Module Name="TechnologyDefinitionCuriosityModuleWeaponKinetic4Strategic5"ModuleName="ModuleWeaponKinetic4Strategic5"Weight="3" Constrained="true"/>
<Module Name="TechnologyDefinitionCuriosityModuleWeaponMissile4Strategic5"ModuleName="ModuleWeaponMissile4Strategic5"Weight="3" Constrained="true"/>
<Module Name="TechnologyDefinitionCuriosityModuleWeaponLaser4Strategic6"ModuleName="ModuleWeaponLaser4Strategic6"Weight="3" Constrained="true"/>

<Module Name="TechnologyDefinitionCuriosityModuleWeaponBeam4Strategic6"ModuleName="ModuleWeaponBeam4Strategic6"Weight="3" Constrained="true"/>

When I change "weight" value to 9, does it make the curiosity will have more probability to pop up? And also after finding one of them, can the rest of them will be found again? Also, I'm already edit the file "WeightTableDefinitions.xml" and change the weight of all curiosities era to 40. Hoping that era 4 will pop up more often.

Best regards

As I know, those things in 'CuriosityDroplists.xml' are just droplists. Generating the curiosities is not their job. Changing those values will only affect the ratio of designated rewards given by exploring curiosities.

So, if I change the value higher then it means when I found the curiosity the reward will be those who has higher value?

Hey folks,

The weights in the Droplists are used to make an element more frequent than the others!

In this situation, if you put one item at 9, it will have 50% chances of being picked (9 out of 18 total), while the others will have 17% chances each (3 out of 18 total).

However this will not change the chances of spawning this curiosity in the galaxy, as you guessed you'll have to modify WeightTableDefinitions for that.

Thank you for your explanation
