An Updated "Endless Heroes"

Hi all.


One of the mods I quite enjoy using, "Endless Heroes" by IceCore, is no longer working with Supremacy.



Namely it breaks Behemoth blueprints/upgrades, and it doesn't give the Hissho their heroes.


If you've not used it, the mod gives each faction in the game their heroes at launch (usually 4 or 5).  This works for both you and your AI opponents.  I personally hate fighting Cravers only to see Rill Kata leading their fleet, for example.


What I'm wondering is:


Does anyone have an idea as to what I'd need to mod to do this?

IceCore's been inactive for a very long while, and it doesn't seem like he/she'll be coming back.

Changing the starting heroes is fairly easy, you just need to override the FactionAffinityMapping data and add more lines like this one:

<FactionAffinityMapping Name="AffinityMappingCravers" SubCategory="MajorFactionAffinityMapping" Hidden="false" Custom="true" Cost="5">
    <Command Name="RecruitHero"                     Arguments="HeroCravers03"/>
    [...]
</FactionAffinityMapping>

You can keep the mod architecture similar to IceCore's, copy the original FactionAffinityMappings from the game's data (ES2 install folder/Public/Simulation/FactionTraits[AffinityMapping*].xml) into your mod's XML files, and add the heroes of your choice!
