Should I uninstall and reinstall the game to get rid of bugs. End of turn shows blank info instead of planets completing construction. Unable to capture Photobomber for entire game even though I had ship at planet. Playing Sheridan but one planet decided it was another race and started to deplete.

Unistalling is for sure the better way to go back to a clean version of the game. That will get the bugs away.
Are you using any kind of mod?

Make sure to remove any mods as well if any are active, then add them one at a time after a fresh reinstall to see which ones are causing issues. As well as making sure to use mods that are up to date because any out of date mods can defintely cause some issues!

If you don't want the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling you can also have steam check the integrity of the files under properties, local files. Also remove mods.
