The title pretty much says it all, were the Vaulters and Sisters of Mercy, the only two factions to surive the events of Auriga that we know of? I ask this as it is clear no one remains on Auriga as when we find it in the galaxy, its a barren, sterrile Ice planet. Let me know what you guys think. :)
[Lore] Are the Vaulters the only canon survivors of the events of Endless Legends (that we know of)?

My memory is bad, so do not count on it too much :D

Surely Auriga didn't go on for long as when we find the planet in endless space we see this, something horrible happened and i imagine most of the other factions must have perished if they hadn't managed to leave the planet (also you cant see in the screenshots but its a sterile planet.

As far as I know they are the only major facxtion to survive the calamity, but individual surivors appear to be around, such as the Broken Lords hero from ES1. So the possibility of more survivors remains, but there's hope for smaller groups of survivals and perhaps some of the hardier factions, have remnants (The Cultists were pretty tough to get rid of after all)

Yikes imagine if the cultists made it into es2, a new scourge. (would be cool though considering the cultists was a fanmade concept)
