A general rule of thumb, don't use anything from 2018 or earlier because it probably doesn't work anymore.
Some popular mods I know don't work anymore, or cause issues but still work are:
- Terraform Away
- Pirate Ship mod
- Hero Command Ships
- Endless Romance
- Extended Galaxy Settings
- Improved Planetary Improvements
- Better Expeditions

Hmpf, luckily I finished the Endless Romance ( First game I ever played actually)... When did all these stop working though; assuming it was a patch about 1 month+ in the past that triggered it?
If so I must have totally missed that patch. But...then again... It's been a few busy months for me so; hence why I thought I'd see when/why if it is known, even, that is.
Anyways, thanks for the heads up either way! And yeah I actually just realized.
Never been able to play the above mentioned ones...Thought it was me etc, heh.
