I am having issues with not being to download the updates. I have steam, digital delux and have linked my account to games2gether.

Normally Steam automatically download and install the updates. Can you please specify which update(s) is not getting downloaded?
You can right click and go to properties of the ES2 in steam library. Check local file integrity. Followed by set the updates to automatically update..

If you go to "content", should the updates have check boxes, or should they just say "update"?
