How does deposit value work?

I'm fairly new, but shouldn't the Remnant Law give me +50% production on strategic resources?

If not, how does deposit value influence resource production?

I'm getting only around +15% more output across the strategic resources with the law in effect.

After some more games the answer is obvious: Deposit value is the base production of a deposit. If a deposit with a value of 2 gets boosted by 50% to a value of 3, that means exactly 1 more per turn.

In the late game, when the law is available, there will be a lot of other resource production boni in effect:

  • Self-mining NPO gives +2 per deposit

  • Miners' Union gives +1 per deposit

  • Expanded Mines give +2 per deposit

  • Mechsuit Quarter gives +2 per deposit

All of these are additive and applied after the base production. So on a fully developed planet, said deposit will still only gain 1 output per turn: from 9 to 10.

To complicate matters, the Overseer and the United Empire heroes can give +1 and +2 strategic deposit value respectively which might or might not be subject to the +50% from Remnant Law.

Still, while looking great at first glance, the bonus from Remnant Law is almost irrelevant in the endgame.

Strange . . . could you upload some screenshots with and without the law implemented?
