So I'm tinkering with custom factions to make a Tyranid like faction in es2. At the moment I have the essence mechanic with unfallen visual/quest and depletion extreme foreman trait. What I can't find an answer to is the assimilation of minor factions. You don't get the trait from hunting grounds nor razing purging the system. Since I have the endless war trait I cant diplomatically assimilate them. My question is am I locked to only been able to raze their systems and not gaining any traits ever or is there a trait I'm missing to be able to. Please and thank you for you're help.
