So ive been trying to hack anyting but it wont connect with anyting it just tells me path does not compute. ive tried multiple new games but well im out of ideas dont know if its a bug or some setting i have to mess with any ideas or troubleshooting would be helpful.

Any vid of pic to see what you are trying to do?
Keep in mind that to hack something you have to own the starting node of the hacking process and target an enemy or neutral node. This is true at least with umbral choir i did not test the expansion with other factions but i suppose it works almost the same way.

Follow @Balrog advise: you can only start hacking from nodes you own, sanctuaries or backdoors, once you pick a place to start, then you can set your path, but you can only hack nodes with a possible result, that means:
- For every faction:
- Any other faction system (must be colony, not outpost)
- Pirate lairs.
- Minor factions.
- For umbral choir you can add:
- Special nodes.
- Any unhabited node with planets you have the tech to colinize and you don't have created a sanctuary.
Any of these will give you some result, but you cannot hack empty systems or special nodes if you aren't playing UC, because there's not possible result for you.
Nodes without any possible result can be selected to make your hack pass through them, but cannot be hacked.
Also you cannot start two hacks against same node.

alright found the issue it is some mods that i add that prevent me form hacking now i just got to figure out a work around if possible
