It's really simple, but possibly make the Obelisks of Space-Time visible when you view the planets. This is partly due to the fact that in the splash art they're so damn large, but once you make one, you can't see it on the planet at all which doesn't make much sense.


Also, I guess this goes for most large/legendary buildings that should/would be viewable from space (such as a Trade Companies headquarters or the Husk of Knowledge, etc). 


And maybe make it so buildings that are viewable from space look similar to the faction, and this would probably not work with any faction that uses the Ark/Vodyani affinity)


As mentioned by @GoldenHeartLock below, this should probably be a setting you can choose in either the Settings tab or the Galaxy Generation Menu, as to not inhibit game performance for some players

I love the idea of having more developed looking planets/systems. I never feel an overly strong attachment to my systems unless I go out of my way to find and transform the right one.

Perhaps this should be a setting though. That way people can choose not to clutter their screen or possible slow down gameplay.

I like the idea of this being a setting, possibly in Graphics or even in the Galaxy Generation System (I'll add this to the idea) 


And yeah, I'm never really attached to the systems I owned based on visuals
