This is very similar to the implemented faction decor idea by IceGremlin but instead for just the Vaulters portals.


Basically, it would be really awesome to see the portal system improvements (since I assume they look/function similar to warp gates, think Eve Online, Starcraft 2's Protoss) on the star systems that the Vaulters have colonized. 


This could be a massive warp gate next to or on the planets, or one or more orbiting the planet(s) 


Though this conflicts with the fact that Vaulter ships seem to use the teleportation mechanics without the direct use of the system improvement portals that you construct since the teleportation particles are visible at the beginning of a space battle. 





Also, can the picture of the portals change, it's exactly the same as the Lode system improvement.

Pretty cool idea, potentially can add to cinematic battles as well.

EG; If the ships come out of a portal to defend the system, it would show as such in the cinematic battle. Otherwise just fighting in the system will have the portal floating around somewhere maybe.

I’d envisioned they’d look the-same as/or similar-to both the Portal Artwork/the teleportation ring around the Argosy. So basically giant ring(s) that would orbit one or multiple planets. 


Unless the DEVs decided to do something else which is entirely possible 


(I’m sure if this was implemented Amplitude would make it look as cool as everything else)
