Donate to the Academy

The Academy trains and prepares heroes for their future roles in the universe, but they are also a place of intrigue and galactic coordination. So why not have the option to boost the power of the academy - similar to the Altar of Auriga in Endless Legend.

The idea would be that you can provide resources (luxury, strategic, FIDSI) to the Academy in exchange for bonuses. 

Please ignore the silly names I came up with.


Use of resources

  • Luxury resources (Performance enhancing protocols) - depending on the luxury resource in question it would boost one of the powers of your existing heroes' skills temporarily.

  • Strategic resource (Accelerated L&D protocols) - depending on the strategic resource in question it would boost the rate at which your heroes gain experience.

  • Food (Webway recruitment) - gain access to purchase a greater number of heroes in the marketplace and consumes all surplus food generation for x number of turns.

  • Industry (Galactic asylum promotion) - consumes all industry production on a planet, but creates a % chance a new non-empire population spawns on the system.

  • Dust (Galactic publicity) – consume all dust production on a planet in exchange for a % chance a powerful hero arrives at the planet temporarily for x number of turns.

  • Science (Magnified R&D programme) - gain access to upgraded hero ships with extra slots and consumes all science generation for x number of turns.

  • Influence (Specialist recruiters) - gain access to a hero x number of turns sooner and consumes all influence generation for x number of turns.

Scalling

As luxury, strategic and FIDSI resource production grows in the economy of the universe - it should become more expensive to donate to the Academy.
