Mini Map

As I'm playing the game, I don't find it necessary to use minimap. Even when I use the largest map with 48 star systems in my empire, I can easily navigate from east to west using zooming and panning.

It really depends on what screen and what mouse you have.
For example, when I play on my macbook air, the mousewheel doesn't exist... so it's not very easy to unzoom/zoom the just amount...

And when the screen is relativly small, it should help to have a minimap.

When I play on my desktop, with a 32' screen, I need less a minimap.

That's why it should be an option you can activate or not.
