Basically this Star Chart Maker or Cartographer can be seen as a seperate star chart panel/drop down column with a list of all the currently discovered systems of the galaxy wide systems.

It can be filtered (or have various filters) by planet type, types of anomaly (bad, good, neutral, reduced, or more specific to the type), amount of anomaly, type and amount of strategic/Luxury resources, Planet amount, planet sizes, Food or Industry or Dust or Science or Influence output, all round FIDSI output, distance from Home Star system, type of star or cold/hot worlds, discovered minor faction systems, pirate based system, other major faction colonized system, your colonized system. 

It could also have a search bar in respect to the afore mentioned filters.

This will be more diverse than what is in the systems panel, as this also allows view, high specific filter, and analysis of known yet not colonized worlds, in this case exoplanets. 

• It allows preferences to be met and fullfilled.

• It gives each faction their own choice of territory, star systems, planets and more (e.g Horatio would like to be on "Hot" planets more often, as with Sophon choose cold worlds, or United Empire choose resource filled worlds,) such preferences should reflect their in-game faction traits. 

• Makes colonization and conquest more competitive (especially forunique planets). --possibly more conflict.

• Gives better understanding on the diversity of the randomly generated Endless Galaxy.

• Allows you to know where the next best alternative star system is when a faster major faction has colonized the currently preferred one. ---possibly conflict averted.

• Could possibly encourage major factions to venture out more and explore or be very selective and picky.

• Allows Bookmarking or keeping Tabs on a system, and any information about it or changes.

This idea is still a working concept, and as such I'm open to any suggestions, criticisms, feedback from any members, your opinion will be very appreciated.
