3D galaxy

This sounds pretty cool. If you could find a way to make it easy to use I'm sure people would be into that (I certainly am). The problem is tackling how to make it aesthetically pleasing. Endless Space games have lots of bright lights and if they are all bundled into a sphere or 3d object in general then the closer to the middle you are the harder it will be to use it. Maybe toss some ideas in the comments about how to counter that problem? That's really the only problem I see with this idea. I'd love to see it become a thing.

Honestly, I had not put a lot of thought into it. I was just throwing out the idea and hoping to brainstorm it in the comments and then add those in. I will edit my post to say that.
