This is only a QoL suggestion, to make players life (not developers) easier. I thought about this b/c even I actually can remember how Academy quest is in general going, and can see icons in fleets telling if they're in my side or not, sometimes I have to go into quest screen to look exactly whats hapening (specially if I have another quest pinned). As I think actual GUI has a good design, you can make things even more comfortable for us (yes, I'm as lazy as a man can be)


You can put a sidebar in Acedemy screen, like the one for effects in quest and diplomacy screen, telling us:


- Who's on each side. Well, only known empires, even if I doubt that at that point can remain any unknown faction...

- How is the quest going. Like found nodes, orbited nodes, rejuvenated/destroyed nodes, and all that.

- Actual rewards wit a little description. Specially remembering us which side gets heroes from market and which one from the academy after the quest, as this last is important for gameplay.


As I say, actually all that info can be found easily, but this improvement will make it a one-click one-look easy info.
