Wouldnt it be cool to have wormholes that can teleport you to the other side of the galaxy? Obviously it would require some tech, but I think it might get dynamics of the big galaxy with multiple players going. Now you just cant fight oponent thats on the other side of the big galaxy unless you send your fleet throught some other empires.
