I think it's time we brought big daddy Jeff into the fold of the academy to educate the lesser species about narrative design. Now of course he should be balanced, but I think that in his case there should be added the special "writer" role specifically for Jeff. Also, Big Jonkey Jeff should be of the Amplitude faction, of course.


What traits does the writer role have? I suggest something simple. Everytime you level up in it, Jeff gets more frustrated in the writer room and deletes a faction from the game. Jeff felt like the Cravers weren't genocidy enough? He'll delete them from the game and start over. Eventually this means that the only being left in the universe will be Jeff. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.


As for the Amplitude faction trait, I would imagine a logical progression in their design. Being a French studio, I think it would be rather appropriate if every time you leveled up Jeff would be surrounded by more and more baguettes in his avatar picture (Which, by the way, should be fully animated). The Amplitude hero tree would serve no other purposes. Just baguettes.
