We all deal with it Minor factions you're working on assimilating you finally get to 100+ and now you're just waiting for a quest to finish or the influence to collect.... then BOOM Sovereignty taken by the AI with no way of gaining it back... then BOOM next turn they assimilate them before you can finish the quest. There needs to be options of taking this back from the AI, since we can no longer praise or do any influence actions once sovereignty is lost there needs to be other options.

Option 1:

- After a Minor Factions relations with a Major Faction reach 100, the only way to take Sovereignty is to win a war vs them.

- This can be accomplished by taking their home system automatically popping up with messages of Sovereignty Taken by ________

or

- Forcing a Truce based on war momentum in which you also gain their Sovereign Nations as part of the Truce.

or

- Successful Invasion of the Minor Factions system allowing for the decision of "Take Sovereignty" or "Assimilate" option along side the 3 available "Occupy, Sack, Raze" options.

              - This specific option I would suggest adds a deflating negative approval for a certain amount of turns.

Option 2:

- Have a quest or influence based action Replace the Praise Option after you have reached 100 to Retake Sovereignty

Quality of Life Change Overall:

We should be able to see the Minor Faction's Standing with all Known/Discovered Factions so that we can Adjust how we treat that Minor faction and avoid Losing Sovereignty all together.

I like this expecially since I've played Unfallen civ, in which you get the starting control of other minor faction if you find them, but due to Unfallen unique colonization with roots, you are going to lose every single minor civilization you don't start very near (and even like that, I was rooting a minor faction system really near my home base, just to see it taken by my peaceful allied UE - I had to buy that system back many turns past that).

Being able to lock the civilization could help by their resources, and by not letting others expand more than you.
