It would be nice to skip tracks and choose which tracks to play, as some get a bit repetitive over the course of a long game.
Something similar to the music player in Stellaris or CK2.

I concur, an ES2 music player tab feature added next to the upper right tooltip, would suffice. making it easily accessible on any screen of the game.
