Please bring back the battles mechanics as in Endless Legend or if possible make it battle.
This would increase the replaybility rate of the game.
Adding additional factions or additional planetary managing items is good but the past few DLCs are taking this route.
It is becoming a bit boring and missing the surprise umph for fans of ES2 like myself. Continuing like this will slowly kill the fans' flare to purchase more DLCs and the excitement of new DLCs. I for one will not be as excited with the statement "Oh just another DLC, Boring!!!!".
