  • They're reliant on water suits to survive outside of their native environment
  • They're highly reliant on AI defence systems that autonomously protect their home system and extrasolar vessels; their AI defence systems decrease the risk of exposing their frail bodies to armed conflict
  • Major quest triggered in which the AI systems go rogue and mass manufacture ships that attack all major factions; players must find these independent systems and invade them to prevent more ships being made per turn

They could be similar to the Trilarians in Master of Orion.


 


The Trilarians overcame the issue of space travel by building giant fish bowl type space ships and they are a very old race, possibly older than the Endless.
