Lore: Tamed by Endless mining brigades before being out-classed by clockwork, these worms were humbly abandoned, many still with "translators," devices used to read what they needed to the humans. Eventually, they developed a simple society capable of most things, despite being incapable of really speaking to others outside.
Being miners, they developed a way of carving, leading to exquisite statues carved by them in every corner of the universe. They sell these and earn quite the proper standing. Due to there lack of hands, they communicate through large electronic tablets, touched gently with their face.
B-Classes are the young ones without, "translators." The A-Classes are worms with translators, old and tireless.
