Hacking feels a little seperate from the main game. What would make this better is if systems had induvidual bandwidths or at least buildings to upgrade that system's speed/ bandwidth. e.g a server farm to increase amount of programs allowed on the system.

Also an agreement to give a backdoor into allied empires systems would be good, e.g if you got a backdoor in every system at the expense of not being able to hack that empire.

I remember that someone from Amplitude explicitly said that the don't want hacking to be based on systems or something like that and instead only by research (and the populations of UC and that minor faction who's name I don't remember).

But yes, having a diplomatical option to hack opponents through allied systems without bein back tracked and interrupted by them is something I also wanted for some time.

Yes! I feel like research/technology and hacking don't go hand in hand in-game so it'd be nice if they were able to correlate the two a bit more. Maybe an IT Planetary District or some other building that'd allow you new things, or maybe even "hacker training"?
