Un-Nerf Religous Party and Federation

The las two changes that made me furious were the balancing nerves that punish playing wide.


It's already annoying to get to saints and sinners at a not fast speed (I mostly play on normal), but now it's even useless, no matter if you just wanted to make a heavy industry on those burning gas planets or try to colonoze the entire galay, +20 doesn't help much, at least make a minimum of 20 to prevent revolutions...


As for the Federation part, it's completely unstable and unpredictable if you have evenly distributed votes between the partys, so that bonus is nearly useless now. Please make it at least so that it doesn't look for party but instead if they're assigned to systems as someone else suggested at a different idea about rebalancing the Federation (1st comment). This would thematically make sense and still provides a limitation that's not ugly unstable like the current atempt.


As for now, because I fill system improvement level 3 & 4 with tier 3 resources and set them to rare (I want strategic  & luxury resources to be truely valuable), the only way to realistically control every system (my actual goal in every game and the reason why I deactivate every way to win) is to play Hissho as Keii is (hopefully still not nerfed) not affected by colonisation limit...


ps. happiness counts as economy, right? (about the category tags)

For the Federation it is not wrong that the old rule of +1 system per hero was a little strong (IMO).

I already posted that IMO it was too strong.

But also, the new rule of limiting the bonus to the major political party is also a rather strong nerf (IMO).

So, I propose to decide between these two rules, and add an other condition to get the bonus.


My proposition is to give this bonus for:

- All heros of the first political party (like it is done in latest update), and

- All heros of the same race as the main race

At least this 2nd bonus would be an element of stability in relation to a change of political regime.

Perhaps this could respond of the un-nerf federation Raffelon just posted ?


And in my games i like to have several heros of the race, like the first one... the latest change for federation prevent me to choose them... i don't like this :D

I have about 1-2 mostly and over 10 of different races so that also isn't enough, I'm sticking to the assigned goveror hero idea as that's the best I've encountered so far...

edit1: (also I'm not so sure how that would work out with my custom factions and the ammount of heroes per my race depends on how useful I think they are, Riftborn for example are only taken if they're nearly the last one in the market or the other options are like Technocrat Guardian and the Riftborn is like Overseer as I prefer Vodyani for my fleets...)
