In Endless Space 2 we have systems with No planets which provide a Production Boost to a nearby System if you own it . My Ideas are :
- More Planetless System Types . Some with more and some with less Debris . And special ones like Stars orbited by a big Dustcloud or a black Hole in the depth of space etc. All of them could have other yields ( i think everthing should be 25ish but i am not very good at balancing )
-Unique Planetless Systems . Endless Stations around Stars, Gigantic debris field from an battle between the endless , Or maybe some kind of Anomaly ? Would have bigger yields or special boni . Maybe they could have Events for the one who found them first , or special Projects in late-Game which can be build there . (Your ideas for special systems is welcome )
Example : A system with High abundance of strategic Resources . Could be Used: A for High Production (let the Industry use this gift) B Use the Strategic Resources for yourself (We needthese resources the most ) C Research it . (Let us find out how all this stuff got here , and how it all reacts to each other )
- Research which unlocks Improvements which can build in all normal kinds of Systems , build some Microwave collector tubes in the System so the Mining Ships don´t need that much fuel or a Trading Hub which increases the Trading Value of Nearby systems , Only one Improvement may be used per planetless system.

More Ideas for Special Systems : Old Ruins : It seems like the giant parts of Metal and pieces of rooms were one gigantic Space Station created by the Concrete Endless which was used to create Experimental Robotic Troops , some salvaged Data shows what happened , in the Dustwars an precise Atack from the Virtuals Deactivated all life support on the station , thy decided then to use reproductive dust to deconstruct the Station , appearently something stopped this Process and left space Junk Mixed with dust . Options : We could A: reactivate the process(science Mali for a time) and gather the Extra Dust(50 dust per turn) . B : Try to reverse most of the Effects of the Deconstruction, (science Mali and Strategic Resource Cost ) and produce some of the Robots to increase our Manpower(something like +50 Manpower per turn to the Empire Manpower ). C : Analyse the Junk and the dust , maybe we can find out why it stopped (dust and Strategic Resource Cost, +35 Science per turn)
