this is the 1000th idea, yey me, not 1st, but definitelly 1000th... does that make me get a cookie?

Anyway, I would like to suggest the removal of "thinking, evaluating, dramatazing" feature, cause it slows down the game, like A LOT.

Imagine you have a 2 minute turn but have to trade several AI empires leftover from leaver players or put there on purpose.

It's maddening. I prefer the instant feedback like EL has.

Even better make it optional to turn on, but I can assure you 5/7 people will appreciate it being off.

Tanglible benefits:

  • faster turn times
  • less hatred towards AI
  • more peaceful galaxy faster

I have had wildly varying times with the AI “thinking” So I assume that it is due to the AI actually calculating how much the deal benefits them (E.G. The simulate their current future plans with and without the deal and see the diffrence) if that is the case then it will be hard to remove but with the new AI Modding coming soon we will get to see. If this is not the case and it’s just added in. I too would want it removed.

Again, I shall bring up the examples in the past games, where for instance in Endless Legend, the response is instant, once you click, you get the weight on the bar, just like that.

Having 30 seconds response time on whether extra 100 dust would make it work is heavily discouraging from any deal optimisation.

It actually is faster to blindly throw the deal without the feedback and wait for the response, so there is that.

I assume that is due to an more inteligent AI that takes more into account.

I have only had it ever be upto 10 seconds which would support the idea that its calculating stuff I also get CPU spikes when doing deals

It's always been the same amount of time for me if not long when I've done that.

Well, the only way for that to really happen is for the AI to give you an answer on the next turn.  I cannot vote for anything that may dumb down an AI. Because in today's games it is hard enough to get DEVs to develop a good AI.
