Trade company buyout and economic pressure. The ability to apply economic pressure on other faction's trade companies and eventual buyout and maybe planetary buyout similar to the influence pressure system would greatly benefit the economic depth of this game! I envisage a similar mechanic to the influence system but it would spread along trade routes rather than and circles of influence.
