Visual Indicator of System's Development Level

The only way to identify a system's development level is in the star system screens.  A visual indicator in GALAXY VIEW and/or in the ECONOMY SCREEN > Systems Management would make it much easier to find systems which need to be leveled as you unlock the resource quantities to do so.  The current system is very tedious, especially as your number of Star Systems grows.

There is currently a label given on the Systems Management Screen, but it only indicates whether a Star System is a Colony or Outpost.  Perhaps this could be changed to Outpost, Base, Settlement, Nation, etc. instead.

Actually in galaxy view systems lvl 2 has a thin line up and down its square name, and lvl 3 has full square borders with this thin line.

But I support your idea of being able to see it from system list, as it will make things easier. I too asked for it in a post.

Thanks for the tip.  I will check out the borders next time I play.

The visual indicators in the galaxy view are pretty subtle though. So subtle that I think that many, myself included, never noticed. Maybe make them slightly more prominent, thicker lines, different colors or something like that.

Perhaps it is even harder for me to notice.  I have very bad color-blindness and I have trouble with subtle contrasts.  Even the color-blind palette is not that great for me.  There is a game called Invisible Inc that has a wide array of color-blindness options and I use one called Tritanopia.

A icon that changes or a simply a number would probably be best then.

+1 here. Anyway I had upvoted this thread from start, as I think this indicators should be clear from afar, and this should figure also in system list.

I do like the current iteration using borders on the System Name Plates, but it is hard to see with some combinations of faction color and galaxy background color.
