Wouldn’t it be great to have an indicator as to which planet types you have not yet researched when the Ecologist law Hardship Ready is active (both for colonised and uncolonised planets)?

Currently you always have to search your technology screen for a specific planet type. Something along these lines could be a great help:

Galaxy View:

  • A different planet dot is needed. I first thought of a lighter/faded colour, but for uncolonised planets that would be difficult to distinguish from minor civilisation planets. So maybe either a half-filled circle or a differently coloured circle border?
  • If you zoom in on one system, Colonizable/Colonized could have a different/faded colour, and/or there would be an icon with an explanatory tooltip (mentioning the missing technology) next to it.

Star System Management:

  • As above, a different colour for Colonizable/Colonized and/or an icon with tooltip.
  • The more elegant (but not as corresponding) solution would be a coloured arc next to the population slots, as it is done with the overpopulation indicator (albeit only on colonised planets). There would also be space for an icon with tooltip, maybe next to the first population slot, so it does not collide with the overpopulation icon.
  • A possibility would also be a note at the Planet Base Output when you hover over a planet (could then also be done in the zoomed-in Galaxy View).
  • When hovering over resource production, the -50% FIDS penalty could be revealed in the calculation:
    • +4 Dust from Population
    • -2 Dust from Hardship Ready Decree

Empire Summary:

  • Same solution with the planet dots as in Galaxy View.
