This feature used to existed in early stage of the game where battle card isn't a thing but there is pre-set of battle tactic you could use depended on your CP. You can click on enemy battle tactic, and has it preview in the projection to see how their flotila trajectory will turn out. I think it is a nice touch to it, and it let you wage your decision more on which tactic you trying to use to counter them, along with flotila trajectory since if one of them get behind another, the one that getting rear shot is unable to shoot back. This could make it feel more tactical.
