The Cravers buy slaves rather then Food on the Supermarket. Slaves wich apparently double as food. That one loading screen image where a Craver grabs a human out of a pen/container is basically their "Groceries Isle" in said supermarket.
Being largely working on Pper Pop Yields, the Supermarket is already penalized once the Planets are depleted.
