since the denizens will be living on a space station essentially it doesn't make sense for them to have same building options like regular planets. Their buildings should allow the gas planet to become highly specialized in producing its preferred resource. Gas planets should also be able to produce stockpiles like in endless legend giving them a unique purpose and this makes the lonely gas planet in a system a benefit and will make them more desirable.
