Happiness Specialization

I would like to see some tech added that gives a Happiness Specialization. We currently have no optimal Specialization for Gas Planets and I started thinking about possible Specializations that would be useful and thematic for Gas Planets. Here's my suggestion for 2 different techs which could be added to the :


Tier 1 Tech added to Xeno Arthropology*:

+1 Happiness per Pop. on Planet / +1 Happiness per Pop. on Gas Planet

*Government Diversity could be moved to Interspecies HR (seems more fitting per description)


Tier 2 Tech added to Dust-9 Production:

+2 Happiness per Pop. on Planet / +2 Happiness per Pop. on Gas Planet


This could also provide another route to happiness mitigation on non-gas planets and help to remove some of the dependency on other specific Happiness Techs.

I dont think happyness for system specialization is a good idea... we currently have other methods of raising happyness such as, waging wars whit jill boy law active... or upgrading a system to level 4 and inputting a extra colonization mechanic. 


If you introduce this feature to the game, and make it very usefull... you will end up making those two game mechanics (upgrading systems to level 4 or waging war to increase happyness) more obsolote, or closer to it. and those two features, i believe, are pretty fun and add a certain depth of strategy to the gameplay. But sadly... i dont think this adds :/
