Different Victory screens

I absolutely agree.

I think Amplitude had the right idea with Endless Legend, when they had the said faction in the victory screen as they were closing in on a victory.

Either a victory screen featuring the winning empire in a glorious pose or a victory screen related to the type of victory would be great. I think the former would be a cool kind of taunt as well, showing everyone in the game your winning empire.

And on the side note, I am still waiting for the defeated screen to show something else than a blown up planet (now that we are talking about screens).

It'd be cool to have these pop up when an empire is defeated. Eye catching and somber. Letting you know that yes, an obstacle has been removed. But they were a whole race of people that no longer exist.

Not necessarily 'no longer exist', just not sovereign any more. Barring the everpresent genocidal option of course.

Faction specific defeat screens would be great.

I'm glad you all like this idea and it would be nice also for me if every faction had its own screen.

Sure, why not, I mean producing a "victory type overlay" and putting it on a "faction theme picture" sounds like a less than an hour job.

Otherwise I do not think of it much as a priority.

Well, it's not really a must have. It's like a good quality of life type update they could make. They could call it the "Victorious Endings" update or something. Adding special victory and defeat pop up screens for each race/victory type. A small but good update.
