Why are space battles so majestic, like out of a movie majestic, but ground battles look like they're done on an atari? Nothing against the atari, just I feel like the quality of the ground battles and the simplicity of the animations are dissapointing for such a GORGEOUS game as Endless Space 2...
Some possible changes to this could be:
- more detailed units and different fighting theaters based on planet type
- more fluid fighting animations
- less pixleated explosion effects
- improved 3d renders of soldiers, tanks, and air units
- different infantry unit types
- sniper
- tank destroyer
- anti-personel
- heavy
- etc...
