SCIENCE VICTORY:

When your in an alliance and going for a Science Victory the description could be better.

Currently you get this:


   


This gives you the impression that there is something more to research than the original 4 Endless technologies.

In reality what you need to do is for you and your ally to have 6 tech's researched in total (could be 3 each or you have all 4 and allied player has 2).

Instead of saying "You have currently researched 4"  it could be something like "Your alliance currently researched 4"  


In the "New game" section for Gameplay the description could be changed to:

"Research all four Endless technologies to win"



CONQUEST VICTORY:

In the "New game" section for Gameplay the description could be made better:

Doesn't say anything about the ammount. Could at least say it depends on galaxy size.

I understand that a galaxies of the same size don't have to have the same ammount of systems but a percentage indicator in this description would be great.



ECONOMIC VICTORY:

In the "New game" section for Gameplay the description could be made better:

How many dust? Again I undestand this depends on game speed or other factors but would be nice to have them included if exact numbers are not possible.



SCORE VICTORY:

In the "New game" section for Gameplay the description could be made better:

Would be nice to have the number of turns at each game speed.



WONDER VICTORY:

In the "New game" section for Gameplay the description could be made better:

How many times? What does the number depend on?



VICTORY NOTIFICATIONS:

Instead of getting a general "Player X is close to winning" it would be a lot better to get more insights.

That would depend in the Victory condition:


SCORE:

At 50/30/10 turns before turn limit runs out present score standings.


SUPREMACY:

First notification to inform when the first home system was conquered.

Secodon notification when a player needs only 2 more home systems.

Thirs notification when a player needs only 1 more home system to win.

The second and third would include the home system names.


CONQUEST:

Notification at a player owning 50% of the number of needed systems for victory.

Another notification at 75%, another at 85%, and then a countdown of the last 3 systems with a notification saying that player needs only 3/2/1 more systems for victory.


WONDER:

First notification when a faction starts working on a Wonder (without details on where it is being built).

Notification after completion of each Wonder by a player.


SCIENCE:

Notification when a player starts research on first Endless tech.

Notification informing that a player started to research one of the last two remaining Endless tech's.

Notification informing that a player started researchig the only remaining  Endless tech.


ECONOMY:

Notification when any player reaches 50% of needed dust with other player standings.

Notification when any player reaches 75% of needed dust with other player standings.

Notification when any player reaches 90% of needed dust with other player standings.

Notification when any player reaches 95% of needed dust with other player standings.


If you see anything else that needs attention please let me know and I will adjust the IDEA.

No no no. ONLY that? Comeon!!! there is much more clarificence needed to make these victory conditions better!!! 


I believe that if we add a more specific "X player is close to achieving victory" screen it would help to make people know of how close players arer close to achieve victory. 


It just feels terrible to know a player is close to achieve victory, but dont know exactly how close he is to achieve that. When you recieve a warning like that you are supposed to bump down military ships right away on him to halt his progress or wait for HOW MUCH TIME Before he turns a actual danger for your empire? Victory conditions need much more clarificence than a simple misleading description!!! >:( :<

Plus... did you updated the picture whit a R or your took it from the game itself? Because if you did well... why you're asking for something that is already there? Please put the picture that show how wrong the game is lol

I don't agree that you should know exactly how much time you have left. Now that doesn't mean that you shouldn't get an aproximation.
"Close" is a very relative word and in many cases you don't have a chance to know exactly how many turns away a player is from victory.

For example for Supremacy victory the time it takes to conquer that one last home planet can take you 2 turns or 20 turns or even 100 turns.

I expanded the IDEA and hope that it looks a lot better now.

Thanks samsonazs! your idea is seemingly much better now. The inconsistence of the "X player is winning" information had really made me nuts. But there is only one thing i'd like to say about your idea...


In science notification , you  say that the second and 3rd notification occurs when they complete the research, while the first appears when they start  researching its first endless tech. 


I'd like to ask you to expand the nofications, to only occur when players start researching the technologies, and not have finished them, since players can just stop researching technologies 3 and 4 and make people wondering if they are about to win or not, and then whiteout warning, they trigger both notifications at once and BAM win the game. 


To counter that, i'd like to request from you to place notifcations only when they start researching technologies 3 and 4 so people can't win whiteout any sign of warning to other players.

Progressing research on all Endless tech without completing them to then have all of them researchable in a single or just few turns is pushing the rules of fair play but makes for a nice strategy.

Good that you thought about it.


I modified the notifications to indicate that research on the last 2 endless tech's has started.

I haven't used 3rd/4th as this would be 5th/6th if you would be in an aliance.
