The idea I had was for a second faction from Endless Legend to get added to Endless space 2.


Foolishly I deleted my previous post when I was trying to edit it and failed to restore it, I instead want to refine the post with better material.


I was thinking a more alien faction managed to salvage enough tech to escape into space as well. From there they meet back up with the race they came from or make their own faction like the Vaulters. Pehaps the Wild Walkers managed to escape as well, as one commenter pointed out.


Even if no one else manages to escape Auriga before it got iced over I still think there could be some other usable material, instead of playing the Drakken from Endless Legend you play as the race where they came from, or maybe a minor faction gets to take the stage instead, the Eyeless Ones, the Ceratan, the Delvers.


And even then, a minor faction could be recycled as a minor faction in ES2, surprise heres the place they all came from!


Anyway that's my idea, I wanted to throw it out there mostly because I figured something can still be used from Endless Legend, and also because its a shame to see so much cool stuff just get iced.
