Depending on how the story of Love Thyself pans out, maybe include a hero (or heroes) who are characters from Love Thyself in Endless Space 2? Maybe a few of the Major characters, like Aeternus P02 or Exrus B12? Or even a reference to your player character in the game.
It could be a fun bonus to have, and I like the idea of seeing these characters from a small scale and personal story get to make a splash on a galactic scale.
