How about having a hotkey that will select the next ship / fleet in the galaxy instead of mouse clicking? Unless I missed it, I don't see the option in the game?
on the outer ring of the end turn circle there is a button (i think it has an arrow and a ship symbol), it will take you to the next idle fleet. It is not technically a hotkey, so I think a hotkey would be a great addition.

yeah especially when playing with steam controller two additional (mappable) hotkeys would be awesome! one for next idle fleet, one for next event/building queue/etc.
