Thinking how nice it is to keep the titanium/hyperium stockpile lower with riftborn, I wondered if this could be extended to other factions.


These are my initial ideas for how they may be used.  I was thinking that all of these could be passive effects, instituted immediately upon unlock by either one-time investment or per turn basis.  Maybe some of these are already built into modules?


Lumeris -- titanium hulls and hyperium engines for trade company vessels.


Sophons -- their exo-armor outfitted with titanium and hyperium to increase combat strength (not enough to compensate fully for their decreased aptitude, but a little, 5% each resource.)  Definitely purchased with a massive initial expenditure (100-200 titanium/hyp) plus an upkeep (for maintenance) of 1-2/pop*turn.


United Empire -- not sure. any ideas?


Vodyani -- religious bling that increases the rate of essence extraction across empire (by using shiny stuff to attract people to the essence extraction, instead of running and hiding, as I think I would do.)


Horatio -- not sure.


Cravers -- value retention...titanium/hyperium have been harnessed for FIDSI value and can be used to slightly forestall the depletion of a planet.  Maybe shave off 5% on the rate of depletion.  The idea perhaps being that they learn to eat these resources, which then teach them moderation in consumption of other resources.  (possibly this could also be accompanied with a similar decrease in the rate of FIDSI extraction.)
