Hero Ship Size Upgrades at Specific Level Intervals

I would like to see the Hero Ships increase in size to Medium when the Hero reaches level 10, and Large when the Hero reaches level 20. This could be implemented in a way that requires investment of strategic resources to manually increase the Hero Ship size. For example, upgrading from Small to Medium could require:


  1. 50 Adamantian
  2. 50 Anti-Matter
  3. 250 Dust
  4. 100 Influence


The persistent Small Hero Ships seem silly in the long run.

+1. More people asking for it and same feeling.

doubt will see for release, but if game succeed hope in future DLC.

I saw another Idea where the author was asking for the removal of the Hero ship and the addition of Hero assignment to the ship of the player's choice.  It was out of scope, but it got me thinking ... why not just have the Hero ship grow in size at regular intervals, much like mobs advanced in classic titles such as Shining Force, Master of Monsters and Brigandine.


They could even make it more interesting by adding an option to choose between upgrading size or upgrading maneuverability. So if you wanted a small ship that was very hard to hit at high level, you could do just that. A little Limousine class dodging lasers and sniping missiles would be a fun thing to see in huge battles.

this idea is good. A Hero Ship should be better in turn 100 - 200.


And another point on hero ships: at the moment the hero ship of system governors is useless. There should be some special Modules for Heroes, that can be used like the Vodyani Modules. For example Support Modules with +10 Influence or +10 Dust or +10 Science or +10 production or +10 food or +50 manpower or political things. (its like motivation objects for the population, for the people who think its unrealistic)


Another Idea for System Governors: they can help defend the system, if the system will be attacked (like the ARK from Vodyani).

I was thinking in the "Universal Skills" skill tree there would be new skills, it looks empty.


New Tier 1, 2 and 3 skills to unlock a blank slot on hero ships for each tier, totaling 11 slots for hero ships.


New Tier 2 skill - increases hero ship HP by 50%


Tier 3 "Bespoke Arms" currently is "+80% Damage on ship" improve to "+100% Damage on ship"
