Add more information to the tooltips in the faction editor that need it! More info is good, right?


There are two elements in the faction editor that don't relay what they actually do: minor factions and starting technologies. 


You get 1+ minor pop on your starting planet or a tech already researched at the beginning of the game. So what? Unless you memorise what they do in-game, they can't possibly inform your faction trait choices going by the provided info alone. 


These two mockups hopefully portray (so punny ) what an improved tooltip could look like:



By displaying ideology and their citizen trait, you have a better idea which minor faction fits with your custom faction. You could have an industry minor pop to go with your food or science orientated faction for instance.



The same applies with starting techs. Now I know it's a tech that improves science output on all planets but also provides bonus science to fertile and temperate ones. Maybe not as useful for a custom Sophon faction as it is for a dust focused faction starting on a high dust but science starved planet type.
