Reinstate the ability to force ships to move to their destination directly.

In ES1 you could ctrl+ right-click a star to have the ship disregard warp lanes and move in a direct line.  This helped you not trespass into other empires' territory accidentily.  This is badly needed.  My ships keep taking stupid routes that irk my neighbors.

Might I add to the suggestion that it would be great if we could click on a fleet and see it's current destination as well? It would be very helpful if this suggestion pulls through, since we can then click on incoming fleets to check if they're headed for our stars or somewhere behind our empire.

Also, the ability to hold shift and right click to queue up several destinations would be handy, but I might be asking a lot here :D

You can already do that with your own fleets. If you select a fleet that has a destination, it's full route will be displayed on the map. (You might have to zoom in to see it.)


I don't think that works for fleets from other players, but that seems perfectly fine to me: you're not supposed to have access to that information in the first place.
